Studying, supporting and publicizing relationships among self-organized housing, urban development processes and sustainability. Projects include the books CoHousing Cultures and CoHousing Inclusive and the online platform CoHousing|Berlin. Personally active for decades with CoHousing. Since 2011 involved with the Spreefeld Housing Cooperative: at home here in the Spree WG CoHousing group. Currently engaged with creating Germany’s first Community Land Trust. Research, teaching, writing and practice deals with civil society-initiated cooperative housing, democratizations of urban planning processes and edible landscapes. Focus on European, urban CoHousing: community-led, inclusive, convivial and sustainable.
