Mark Musick

Vashon Island Cohousing
Vashon Island, WA
Mark grew up in a small town on the shores of Puget Sound. He co-founded the regional Tilth Association in 1974 and for ten years he was a member of a pioneer Community Land Trust farm. Forced to quit farming by the late effects of childhood polio, in the mid-1980s he moved to Seattle where he focused on developing marketing opportunities for small farmers, including developing the farm-direct buying program for a major local grocery chain and coordinating the farm program at the Place Market. In 1989 Mark co-founded Vashon Island Cohousing where he and his wife Terry now live.
