Jim Swenson had a career in communications: a journalist, filmmaker, media producer, writer, director, communications manager. Jim was responsible for developing communications and outreach campaigns for several government entities, non-profits and private sector enterprises.  Jim was a founding member of PDX Commons, a senior cohousing project that took four years to develop and has been a thriving community for the last two years. He was in charge of outreach for the project at its initiation.
