Hi! I'm a member of a new community that started 1.5 years ago in Denver, CO. I joined the community over a year before move-in and I was a first-time homebuyer. As a single woman of color I don't fit the typical cohouser profile, but I've wanted to live in cohousing for over 10 years (since discovering Takoma Village while living in DC!). As you may imagine, we are experiencing challenges that I hear are normal for a new community...which is one reason why I'm attending on behalf of Aria. My neighbor Trish will also be there.
