Mutual respect and trust are essential parts of healthy and productive communities. But how do we create that? This workshop will give you concrete tools for cultivating trust and respect, laying the foundation for nurturing successful relationships within your cohousing community. Content overview:
  • Highly participatory
  • Story-based exercise on what makes us feel respected and trusted
  • Exploration of what happens when we feel respected and trusted, to ground us in what’s important about this
  • Curiosity as a path to developing mutual respect and trust – framing and quick tools
  • Story-based exercise to explore how easy it is to make inaccurate assumptions, what happens when we do and how to interrupt our tendency to do so.
  • Tool: Using powerful questions to help ourselves and others get to/stay in curiosity, surface assumptions, and build understanding, respect and trust.
